Your typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. For now, you will work remote until we open our new office in the Livonia, Novi, or Farmington Hills area.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR CONTROLLER

As our Controller, you'll be building our accounting department from the ground up. This includes:

• Building and automating our accounting systems & processes, dashboards and reports, and performing all day to day accounting duties with a limited budget.
  • Bookkeeping, AR/AP, Payroll, Job Costing, Budgeting, Reconciliations, Report Preparation & Review, Compensation Plan Administration, Record Keeping, and Assisting with Cost Control.

• Working with our advisors and overseeing our Tax/Compliance and Insurance.

Here's what we need from you:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 10 years of accounting experience in a managerial role
• A mastery of GAAP, general ledger accounting principles, and financial reporting
• A strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks
